  • 1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of HomeDaddy LLC’s website, member portal, services, and subscription offerings (collectively, the “Services”).

By enrolling in a membership, accessing our platform, or using any HomeDaddy services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

  • 2. Service Model Overview

HomeDaddy is a subscription-based home care coordination platform that provides:

  • • Annual Home Check-Up conducted by certified third-party professionals
  • • Dedicated HomeDaddy handyman services (non-licensed scope only)
  • • Access to vetted specialty service providers
  • • Project management for larger home improvement projects

HomeDaddy operates as a service coordinator and manager, not as a general contractor unless explicitly stated in writing.

 
 
  • 3. Membership & Subscription Terms

A. Membership Plans

  • • Membership tiers include defined annual handyman hours and service structure. Details are provided at enrollment.
  • • Plans are billed annually unless otherwise specified.
  • • Unused hours do not roll over.
  • • Additional hours may be purchased separately.
  • • Minimum service order per visit may apply.

B. Cancellation Policy

 

  • • Members may cancel within the first month.
  • • A non-refundable fee may apply if the Home Check-Up has been completed or more than one service visit has occurred.
  • • After the initial cancellation window, membership remains active for the remainder of the annual term.
  • 4. Annual Home Check-Up

The Home Check-Up is:

  • • A visual, non-invasive evaluation
  • • Conducted by certified third-party professionals
  • • Informational in nature
  • • Not a guarantee, warranty, or insurance policy

HomeDaddy does not warrant that all defects, hazards, or future failures will be identified.

The Home Health Score is an internal scoring system for informational and maintenance-planning purposes only and should not be relied upon for purchase, resale, safety, insurance, or investment decisions.

  • 5. Dedicated Handyman Services

HomeDaddy professionals perform general handyman services within permitted scope.

They do not perform:

  • • Licensed electrical work
  • • Licensed plumbing work
  • • Structural modifications
  • • HVAC installation or repair
  • • Roofing replacement
  • • Work requiring specialized trade licensing unless separately contracted

Members are responsible for disclosing property conditions that may affect safety or service delivery.

 
  • 6. Specialty Service Providers

HomeDaddy may connect members with vetted third-party contractors.

Important:

  • • These contractors are independent entities.
  • • They are not employees of HomeDaddy.
  • • HomeDaddy facilitates coordination and payment processing.
  • • While we vet providers, we do not guarantee workmanship outcomes beyond coordination and oversight responsibilities explicitly agreed upon.
  • 7. Project Management Services

For larger projects, HomeDaddy may:

  • • Collect and analyze bids
  • • Provide recommendations
  • • Coordinate scheduling
  • • Monitor project progress
  • • Facilitate communication

The member retains final approval authority over contractor selection and scope.

HomeDaddy is not liable for contractor performance beyond its role in reasonable coordination and oversight.

 
  • 8. Payments & Fees

Members agree to:

  • • Pay subscription fees as outlined at enrollment
  • • Pay additional service fees where applicable
  • • Authorize secure payment processing

Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of services.

All payments are non-refundable except where explicitly stated.

  • 9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeDaddy shall not be liable for:

  • • Indirect or consequential damages
  • • Loss of property value
  • • Missed defects not visible during Home Check-Up
  • • Contractor negligence beyond coordination scope
  • • Force majeure events

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the member in the preceding twelve (12) months.

  • 10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

HomeDaddy disclaims:

  • • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • • Non-infringement
  • • Guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free platform performance
  • 11. Data & Privacy

Use of Services is governed by our Privacy Policy dated February 16, 2026.

By using HomeDaddy, you consent to data collection and processing as outlined therein.

  • 12. User Responsibilities

Members agree to:

  • • Provide accurate information
  • • Maintain safe working conditions
  • • Disclose known hazards
  • • Secure pets during service visits
  • • Maintain active utilities where necessary

HomeDaddy reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service in unsafe conditions.

 
  • 13. Intellectual Property

All HomeDaddy materials, including:

  • • Home Health Score system
  • • Platform design
  • • Branding
  • • Content
  • • Inspection templates

Are the intellectual property of HomeDaddy LLC. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

 
  • 14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall:

  • • Be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio
  • • Be resolved through binding arbitration in Ohio
  • • Waive participation in class-action lawsuits

Members agree to attempt informal resolution prior to arbitration.

 
  • 15. Termination

HomeDaddy may suspend or terminate services for:

  • • Breach of Terms
  • • Non-payment
  • • Unsafe service conditions
  • • Fraudulent activity

Termination does not waive outstanding payment obligations.

 
  • 16. Modifications

HomeDaddy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Continued use of Services after updates constitutes acceptance.
